King underwent micro fracture surgery
on his right knee during the off-season, and has yet to take part in full contact
drills. King was expected back for the beginning of the
season.
Marcus Bell was the only real surprise on the roster.
Bell was in heated battle with D.D Lewis, Isaiah Kacyvenski, and Tracy
White.
Bell, was originally a fourth-round draft choice in 2000
and played in 45 games and started
nine totaling 99 tackles, two sacks and one interception. Bell started nine
games last season and totaled a career-high 74
tackles.
The team will announce it’s practice squad on Monday.
