The Oregon native will be playing with former Oregon quarterback Joey Harrington
and former USC defensive end Shaun Cody, whom he shared 2005 Pac-10 Defensive
Player of the Year honors with. Swancutt will report to Detroit this weekend
where he will participate in a mini-camp for rookies and veterans Friday through
Sunday.
When asked if he was disappointed in that he didn't go earlier he replied,
"I just want a chance to play at the next level. That's what I'm looking
forward to doing - going out there and working as hard as I can.
"I think that I'm a hardworking, relentless type of a player. I'm not
the flashiest player but I have a high motor. I just constantly get after the
quarterback and never take a play off."
Head coach Steve Mariccui thinks Swancutt could one of the hidden gems of the

"There were probably some Pro Bowl players drafted today," Mariucci
said after Detriots final selection. "They're just not the household names
like (Saturday's) were."
Anderson was the only quarterback selected in the sixth round and according
the the Ravens official site is already the team's third string quarterback
with a good chance to make the team.
“He’s not a scrambler per se, but he can move around,” Ravens
head coach Brian Billick said. “He’s a good athlete. He’s got
a big arm. Physically isn’t the question, it’s more the mental aspect

Anderson will join former Beaver defensive tackle Dwan Edwards in Baltimore shortly.
Nienhuis was the second to last pick just missing being labled Mr. Irrelevant.

Might have had the most sacks in college football in this draft. He had 38 sacks
over his career. He runs a 5.0 flat, but he's got pass rush skills. If you go
by the numbers, you won't like him. But if you go by the film, you're seeing
a guy who can get to the quarterback at the college level. The Lions did good
with this pick.

Anderson is the first player in high school history from Oregon to be Player
of the Year in football and basketball. He has a cannon for an arm. He has to
go to a dropback passing team. He has okay speed. If you need someone to throw
downfield, he's got great arm strength. He looked pretty good in the East-West
Shrine Game.

Durable three-year starter who never missed a game in his college career. High-character
player who has excellent size and overall strength. Nienhuis lacks the athleticism
necessary to play on the outside at the NFL level and will probably get a shot
inside. He will probably never be a starter, but may turn out to be a solid
backup at the pro level.
