The Seattle Seahawks moved one step closer to shoring up holes in the team’s starting lineup on Thursday, signing five-year veteran Itula Mili to a multi-year contract.

Mili, a former Brigham Young University star, was drafted by Seattle in the sixth round of the 1997 NFL draft.
In the past two seasons, the Hawaii native has gained valuable playing experience while filling in for the oft-injured Christian Fauria, who is now testing the free agent waters.
Mili has started 13 of the 55 games he’s played in and caught 41 passes for 430 yards and six touchdowns.
