According to league sources,
veteran left guard Mike Wahle has agreed to terms with the Seahawks as of Thursday.
After being released by
the Panthers on Monday (to free up cap space), Wahle traveled to Seattle and
met with Seahawks executives on Wednesday. An agreement was made on Thursday
but financial terms of the deal are not known at this time.
The 6-foot-6, 304-pound
Wahle is a one time Pro Bowler and a 10-year NFL veteran. Durable and dependable,
the 30-year-old guard has missed just three games over the course of his career.
Wahle will likely replace
Rob Sims who struggled at LG throughout the 2007 season. Stay tuned to NET as
more information develops.
