NorthwestFootball.net has confirmed that the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms with sixth round quarterback Mike Teel (Rutgers).
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the contract is for four years.
Teel (6-3, 230) was the 178th player chosen in the 2009 NFL Draft. A three-year starter at Rutgers, Teel finished his collegiate career as the Scarlet Knights all-time passing leader with 9,383 yards and 59 touchdowns.
Teel, who will compete with Jeff Rowe for the Seahawks' third quarterback spot on the roster, becomes the second Seahawks' draft choice to agree to terms on a contract, joining safety and fellow Rutgers alum Courtney Greene, who signed on Monday.
