The Seattle Seahawks agree to terms with second-round center Max Unger.

The Seattle Seahawks announced that they have agreed to terms on a four-year contract with second-round center Max Unger (Oregon).

Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times reports that the deal contains $1.95 million dollars in guarantees, meaning the deal is worth around $3.7 million dollars.

A native of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Unger (6-4, 310) started 51 games during his four years at Oregon. Unger began his college career at left tackle before spending his final two seasons at center, where he twice earned first-team All-Pac 10 honors. In addition to not being flagged for a penalty during his final three seasons in Eugene, Unger was a three-time winner of Oregon’s Ed Moshofsky Award, given annually to the Ducks’ top offensive lineman.

While his NFL future should be at center, Unger primarily worked at left guard during the team’s off-season mini-camps and he is a candidate to start immediately at any of the ‘Hawks interior offensive line spots.

With Unger signed, first-round linebacker Aaron Curry is the Seahawks' lone unsigned draft choice.
