Seahawks Snap Counts
A look at the number of offensive and defensive snaps each Seattle Seahawks player logged during their 41-0 shellacking of the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. These snap counts do not include special teams plays, as broadcast limitations make charting those plays difficult. Plays nullified by penalty are not counted, either.

Playing at home, and against a team that isn’t nearly the pass-rushing threat the Indianapolis Colts were a week ago, the Seahawks scrapped the 0 running backs, 3 wide receivers, and 2 tight end personnel grouping they used ten times against the Colts.
Both of Nate Burleson’s touchdowns came out of “Zebra” personnel, while both of T.J. Houshmandzadeh’s touchdowns were from “Regular”.

By the looks of Seattle’s rushing totals, “Tiger” and “Zebra” were successful personnel groupings for the running game. However, remove three Matt Hasselbeck scrambles (23 yards) and Justin Forsett’s 22-yard run on what was obviously a busted half-back pass, and Seattle ran for just 40 yards on 16 carries (2.5 avg.) with one running back on the field.
Meanwhile, the 3.3 yards per carry in “Regular” personnel includes three kneel-downs for -3 yards by Seneca Wallace. Remove those, and Seattle ran for 61 yards on 17 carries (3.6 avg.) with Owen Schmitt on the field.

The lone sack of Hasselbeck came when Seattle was in regular personnel. Julius Jones was the running back, with Schmitt lined up in the left slot.
