The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms with free agent wide receiver Brandon Jones, ESPN's John Clayton reports.
Jones signed a five-year, $16 million contract, which included $5.4 million in guarantees, with the 49ers last off-season. In eight games for the 49ers, Jones caught one pass for 18 yards and returned 9 punts for 26 yard.
The 49ers terminated his contract last Wednesday, after which Jones went on a free agent tour, beginning with the Seahawks. Jones also visited with the Minnesota Vikings and Oakland Raiders.
A third-round pick out of Oklahoma by the Tennessee Titans in 2005, Jones (6-1, 212) has 113 receptions for 1,398 yards and 9 touchdowns during his 49-game career.
Jones becomes the 10th receiver on the Seahawks' roster, and will compete with Ben Obomanu, Ruvell Martin, Mike Hass, and Kole Heckendorf for what may be one remaining roster spot at the position.
