The Seahawks have been vague about when they expect running back Shaun Alexander to return from his foot injury. Part of that is because the team can't be sure how quickly Alexander will recover from the cracked fourth metatarsal in his left foot. The team also wants to avoid setting an expectation level that may or may not be realistic.
