2004 - Voted a Team Captain
2004
Brian should factor into the battle for playing time this fall at runningback, and and is essentially a lock to be the team's long-snapper for the 4th consecutive season (a position that is often overlooked by fans, but is among the most critical on the special teams unit).
2003
Played in 8 games as fullback and recorded 7 pass receptions, including 2 TD passes. Also was Idaho's #1 long snapper all season.
2002
Started seeing action at fullback behind senior Kevin O'Connell, but continued his role as Idaho's #1 Long Snapper.
2001
Earned the starting long-snapper job and played in all 11 games.
2000
Brian joined the Vandals in 2000 as part of Coach Cable's first recruiting class and redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL
Yarno played football and competed in track at Redmond High School. As a tight end for the Mustangs, he was a first-team all-KingCo choice as a senior and a second-team selection as a junior. During his senior season, he caught 27 passes for 380 yards and five touchdowns. He also was a team captain. |
