Three-year starter awarded All-Conference honors after his junior
and senior seasons.
Pos:
Improving center who watched his game take off last season.
Explodes off the snap, quickly gets his hands into opponents and plays
hard until the whistle blows. Jolts opponents at the point and
redirects to linebackers on the second level. Solid position blocker
who turns defenders off the ball, then seals them from the action.
Plays heads-up football and works well with teammates. Nasty and
always looks for someone to hit.
Neg:
Not a true dominator in the middle of the line and has difficulty
finishing blocks. Must improve his lower-body strength, as he does not
consistently anchor in pass protection. |
