How Acquired: Came to the Vikings in a trade May 18, 2006. The Vikings sent undrafted rookie Hank Baskett to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for McMullen – reuniting him with former offensive coordinator Brad Childress.

2006: Played in all 16 games in his first season with the Vikings, doubling his career numbers in the process. In three years with the Eagles, he caught 22 passes for 294 yards and one touchdown. In one season with the Vikings, he caught 23 passes for 307 yards and two touchdowns. He also scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery in the end zone after the ball was fumbled at the 1-yard line by Chester Taylor Nov. 12 vs. the Packers – a game in which he also caught one of his touchdowns on a 40-yard pass from Tarvaris Jackson.
2005: Saw action in all 16 games, and set career highs with 18 receptions for 268 yards and one touchdown. Set career highs for receptions (three) and yards (60) in Week 9 vs. the Redskins and scored his first touchdown in Week 16 vs. Arizona when he caught two passes for 25 yards from then-starter Mike McMahon.
2004: Was active for eight games, catching three passes for 24 yards and making four special teams tackles.
2003: Was drafted in the third round (No. 95 overall) and played in five games, catching one pass for two yards.
College: Became the first wide receiver in Virgina Cavalier history to lead the team in receiving four consecutive years. Finished his career as the school’s all-time leader in receptions (210) and yards (2,978) and left school No. 3 on the all-time list for touchdowns (24). Was All-ACC as a senior when he caught 69 passes for 894 yards and had a 37-yard touchdown pass. His breakout season came as a junior when he caught a school-record 83 passes for 1,060 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Personal: Both his parents work in the criminal justice field – his father as a corrections officers in a juvenile detention facility and his mother as a teacher at the Hanover Juvenile Corrections Center in Richmond, Virginia. Is an avid fan of cartoons, especially Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry. Got his college degree in religious studies. Won a state title as a high school senior playing wide receiver, catching 45 passes for 870 yards and 12 touchdowns at Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy.
