2006: After joining the Redskins, Suisham played in five games and completed 8-of-9 field goals, with a long of 52, and 12-of-12 PATs for 36 points. He played in three games with the Dallas Cowboys early in the season, but was released.
2005: Suisham was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers at the end of training camp and signed to the Cowboys practice squad on Sept. 4. He played in two games for Dallas, but was released Nov. 19. He re-signed with Dallas on Dec. 26 and played in the season finale. In three games with the Cowboys, Suisham was three-of-four on field goal tries and eight-of-eight on PATs.
College: As a senior at Bowling Green, Suisham earned second team All-MAC honors, finishing 12th in the nation in scoring with a 9.3 point-per-game average.
He left Bowling Green as the school's all-time leading scorer (361 points) while also holding the Falcons record with 45 career field goals while notching 31 touchbacks on kickoffs.
He was a Lou Groza Award semifinalist after setting the all-time NCAA IA record for PATs made (226-of-233). |
