2006: In his second season in Washington, Moss played in and started 14 games and recorded 55 receptions (second most on team) for 790 yards and six touchdowns (tied for a team-high).
2005: Moss had a breakthrough season in his first year in Washington, earning a Pro Bwol nod for his efforts. He started and played in all 16 games and led the Redskins in receptions with 84, receiving yards with 1,483, and average per catch with 17.7. He also had nine touchdowns. His 1,483 receiving yards established a new single-season franchise mark, breaking a record held by Bobby Mitchell (1,436 in 1963).
2004: Moss played in 15 regular season games and two playoff contests and finished tied for second on the Jets with 45 receptions. He led the team with 838 yards and five touchdowns. Moss recorded 27 punt returns for 225 yards. During the playoffs, Moss recorded eight receptions for 131 yards and one touchdown. In addition, he recorded five punt returns for 83 yards and one touchdown.
2003: Moss emerged as a true offensive weapon as he caught 74 passes for 1,105 yards (fifth in the AFC) and became just the sixth player in Jets history to catch 10 touchdown passes in a season, playing in 16 games and starting the final 12 of the campaign. Also had 10 rushing attempts for 67 yards and averaged 11.1 yards on 30 punt returns on the year.
2002: Moss established himself as one of the premier punt returners in 2002, leading the AFC with a 16.5 average on 25 returns, including two touchdowns. He also caught 30 passes for 433 yards with four touchdown catches.
2001: Moss was inactive for 11 games in 2001 due to torn cartilage in his left knee, an injury suffered early in training camp. He came back after surgery to play in five games and finished 2001 with two receptions for 40 yards and six punt returns for 82 yards.
College: Moss holds the University of Miami all-time record with 2,546 yards receiving, topping the old mark of 2,423 yards by Michael Irvin (1985-87).
Finished the 2000 season with 1,604 all-purpose yards on 45 catches for 748 yards and five TD. Had six carries for 201 yards, two TD, and added 36 PR for 655 yards and four TD. |
