With the 2010 NFL Draft in the rear-view mirror, here's a look at the Seattle Seahawks roster as it…
Seahawks Sign S Quinton Teal
Terms were not disclosed.
An undrafted free agent out of Coastal Carolina, Teal signed with the Carolina Panthers in 2007. The 6-1, 187-pound safety has totaled 45 tackles, including 23 on special teams, in 44 games for the Panthers, including a career-high 20 in 2009, where Teal started a career-high three games.
Teal was a restricted free agent this off-season, but the Panthers did not extend a qualifying offer to him, making him an unrestricted free agent. Seahawks director of pro personnel Tag Ribrary and assistant director of pro personnel Trent Kirchner worked in the Panthers' personnel department in recent years, with Kirchner leaving the Panthers to accept his current position in Seattle.
The Seahawks also re-signed long-snapper Matt Overton, his agent, David Canter, announced on Twitter.
The Seahawks begin a three-day mini-camp on Friday.
